Open Road Publishing Business Cards

From March 2025 to the beginning of April 2025, I was tasked to create and maintain the business card files for the Open Road Publishing sales team. With every new team member, a new business card would be created and sent to the printing press vendor.

The Challenge

The Open Road Publishing Sales Team is Quickly Growing!

After the 2024 release of the Open Road Guide, the President of Open Road Publishing brought on 12 new team members onto his Sales Team. He and the Director of Marketing/Production tasked me to create some business cards for these new team members. The cards are sales tools that aim to help potential customers remember their designated Sales Representatives after they leave the field.

Both the President and Director of Marketing suggest that these business cards β€œpop” and use the colors used in the Open Road Publishing branding sheet.

The Solution

Some Colorful Branded Business Cards

I followed a clean and conventional business card design where one side is just the company logo on a solid color background, while the other side has all of the contact info and list of services. Since the Open Road Publishing brand uses its turquoise color as its primary brand color, I decided that the turquoise be used as the main background color on the side with just the logo.

On the other sides of the business cards, there list the team members’ contact info. The President and Director noted how the contact info should be listed at the top half of the cards. The list of services and app badges are then placed at the bottom of the cards in a background color that uses the Open Road Publishing’s secondary branding tan color.
