Hi there, I’m Cecilia Diep! 👋
I first discovered my passion for design while taking design-related courses in high school, where I was drawn to the creativity and problem-solving involved in visual communication. I started my professional Graphic Design career a couple years after graduating from the University of Utah. I originally wanted to pursue a career in UX/UI Design, but decided to pursue Graphic Design due to lacking any UX/UI Design experience.
Despite me pursuing Graphic Design, I’m still continuing to learn about UX/UI Design. In 2022, I finally applied my UX/UI Design knowledge to a personal project and wrote my very first UX case study. I was grateful for being able to combine two of my passions in life: design and Pokémon (a video game franchise).
Now, I enjoy working on design projects that involve editorial, layout design, marketing and web/UX design throughout my 8 years in being a Graphic Designer/Production Artist for The Local Pages LLC and Open Road Publishing. I’m dedicated in creating clean design solutions that solve business marketing problems.
I'm based in Utah! I was born in Oakland, California, but lived in Utah for over 20 years. When I'm not doing design work, you can find me "catching 'em all" in the latest Pokémon game, eating some good Asian food or obsessing over Taylor Swift.
